I have been in the market for a beat down car for a few weeks now. I like to buy cars that nobody else wants and fix them up then resell them. I guess you could say I flip cars instead of houses. I just don’t buy any old car though. You have to know which ones will give value once you fix them up. I also look for cars that are fine structurally. It is very rare I buy a car that needs a lot of body work because the cost of fixing it outweighs any value you add to it. Instead, I look for cars that need new engines and are fine otherwise. I can find a cheap engine for sale that will get it up and running. Then I will make my own little adjustments to it and before I know it, the car is ready to be sold.
